13th Annual H.D.F.C.A Senior All-Star Football Game
PALMDALE, CA – Robbie Thompson and Jordan Rush – departing Seniors and key members of the Spirits 2008 Championship Team – took part in the 13th annual High Desert Football Coaches Association Senior All-Star Football Game at Knight High School. Both played big parts for the West squad last night. However, the East came out with the 30-21 win.
Paraclete coaches Dominic “D1” Dahlia and Matt Anderson were also apart of the West staff.

Freshmen Player-Parent Meeting
All incoming freshmen and their parents are requested to attend an introductory program meeting Monday, May 6th at 7pm. The meeting will be held on campus at the main gym.
Caterina makes Cal squad as walk-on
LANCASTER, CA – Varsity head coach Norm Dahlia announced today that former Spirits player Thomas Caterina (’07) has made the Cal Bears football team as a walk-on player.
Caterina spent last year at Berkeley campus where he focused on obtaining his bachelors degree. Prior to last season, Caterina was a member of Paraclete’s 2007 varsity team that finished 12-1. He saw time on both sides of the ball. On offense, he caught a total of 18 passes for 238 yards. Over on defense, he finished with 39 total tackles.

Spring Parent/Student Athlete Meetings
The coaching staff will have their annual parent meetings this spring as follows:
- Returning parents/student athletes – Tuesday, March 31 @ 7pm in the Old Gym
- Incoming parents/student athletes – TBA
Kelly makes Fresno St. squad as walk-on
LANCASTER, CA – Paraclete Head Coach Norm Dahlia announced today that former Spirits running back Jerry Kelly has made the Fresno State Bulldogs football team as a walk-on player.
The Bulldogs coaching staff notified Kelly of their decision today following the team’s tryout sessions.
Kelly spent the last year at Fresno State, where he focused on academics and adjusting to college life. Prior to last season, Kelly helped Paraclete finish the year with a 12-1 record. He led the Spirits in rushing with 1421 yards and 16 touchdowns on 157 carries. He also had 139 yards and two touchdowns on 10 receptions.
